We should strive for fairness and Justice said, His Excellency Sayed Abdul Karim Hashimi deputy Minister of Labour Affairs in a ceremony held by Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs concern to Laborer's international day with the participation of Manzour Khalid Country Director of International Labour organization, Dr. Marouf Qadeeri Chairman of Afghan Laborer's Union, Tawfiq Dawari Deputy Director of Chamber of Commerce, Some counselors of ministry's Leadership, Directors and other staff Members of Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs.

Labour is intertwined with Human from the creation, Labour is life and Labour is vital for the continuation of life, Mr. Hashimi added.

Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs is a policymaker institution, committed to all the commitments of  ILO and always strives to prepare safe work environment for laborers by Audits of Administrations.

Beside of praising the approval of laws and regulations concern to Labour by the leadership of MOLSA, the International Labour Organization committed to cooperate closely with the leadership of Labour and Social Affairs Ministry, said Manzour Khaliq Country Director ILO in Afghanistan.

The representatives of other social partners (Laborer's Union and Chamber of Commerce) emphasized on the implementation of the presidential decree concern to determination of minimum Labour wage.

At the end, leadership of MOLSA praised some Staff members and Civil servants of the Ministry and Distributed to them some gifts and Appreciation letters.

The Global Laborer's day was formed after the crackdown of laborers uprising in the Chicago city of USA 133 years ago, the uprising of Laborer demanded their Rights that headed to General work strike and demonstrations.

Afghanistan celebrates annually this day to commemorate from the values of Labour and Labourars.
