The Acting Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Meets with the Head of the Qatar Red Crescent in Afghanistan

The Acting Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Alhaj Mullah Abdul Manan Omari, met with Mr. Hussain Botani, Country Director of the Qatar Crescent, in his office.

At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Botani shared information about the Qatar Red Crescent's background, programs, activities, and achievements in Afghanistan during the last decade.

We implement our projects following the principles of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, and we are committed to these rules. We also pledge to coordinate with the Islamic Emirate institutions in the designing, implementation, and diversification of our future projects, Mr. Hussain Botani added.

Alhaj Mullah Abdul Manan Omari praised the activities of Qatar  Red Crescent and asked to increase support for the most vulnerable segment of Afghan society, particularly children and the newly returned citizens.

For your comprehensive support and cooperation to the Qatar Red Crescent, and we are ready to provide facilitation for their meaningful and effective activities in Afghanistan, Alhaj Mullah Abdul Manan Omari vowed.

Qatar Red Crescent is designing a project to help vulnerable people in Afghanistan. Mr. Hussain Botani requested to support the swift finalization of the documents related to the project, which is designed to help vulnerable classes of the Afghan society.

It is worth mentioning that the Qatar Red Crescent is active in Afghanistan, providing healthcare, water supply, and emergency aid. They also support orphans and other vulnerable segments of our society.
