The Deputy Minister of Labor Affairs Meets with Representatives of Afghan Diaspora Communities

Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Alhaj Mawlavi Mohammad Zahid Ahmadzai met in his office with representatives of Afghan Diaspora Communities in the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Austria, and Germany.
At the beginning of the meeting, Noor Alam Hekimyar spoke and shared information regarding Afghan Diaspora challenges, achievements, opportunities, and plans. They also discussed the presentation of human trafficking to foreign countries, and creating job opportunities, taking advantage of their experience, education, and skills in ongoing development projects throughout the country.
After their remarks, Mawlavi Mohammad Zahid Ahmadzai, Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, welcomed their visit to their own country and said that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, especially the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, is striving to create job opportunities for youths within the country. He emphasized the importance of vocational training in Afghanistan, which aligns with international standards because it is easy for skilled workers to find appropriate jobs abroad and at home.
The governments in the world can’t provide and hire the entire workforce in the public sector alone. For this reason, he urged Afghan businessmen, industrialists, entrepreneurs, and investors living abroad to invest in the country, which will generate employment opportunities and prevent illegal migrations from Afghanistan, Mawlavi Ahmadzai added.
For a better future for our country, we need your experience, expertise, and professionalism. The development of the country, and the Afghan Diaspora Community's financial contribution and investment are the key for economic growth and prosperity, Mawlavi Mohammad Zahid Ahmadzai emphasized.
