Graduation Ceremony of 90 People from Technical and Vocational Training Center in Kabul
Through the efforts and coordination of the General Directorate of Skills Development of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, 90 young people have graduated from the Technical and Vocational Training Center and received their certificates at the end of the ceremony.
It is a joyous occasion to witness the graduation of 90 young people from the Technical and Vocational Training Center today. After six months of theoretical and practical training in plumbing, construction electricity, and mobile repair, they are now entering society as skilled workers, enabling them to earn a lawful livelihood for their families. The Deputy Minister of Labor Affairs, Alhaj Mawlavi Mohammad Zahid Ahmadzai, stated while congratulating the graduates and wishing them more success in their future endeavors.
In addition to its other responsibilities, the MoLSA has provided technical and vocational training opportunities based on the needs of the job market for young people, individuals recovered from addiction, and disabled Mujahideen across all provinces of the country. Every year, thousands of young people receive graduation certificates in various trades. According to him, experience shows that most of these graduates are now actively working in the job market and supporting their families, which is a significant step and has positively contributed to reducing unemployment. Unemployment is one of the major problems of the people, and to combat it, the Islamic Emirate especially the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs is working to provide suitable employment opportunities for the citizens. The Deputy Minister further added during his speech to the audience and new graduates.
In the end, the Deputy Minister of Labor Affairs, Alhaj Mawlavi Mohammad Zahid Ahmadzai; Mawlawi Rahimullah Sarah, the Director General of Skills Development; Mawlawi Abdulwahid Faiz, the Director of Technical and Vocational Training; the Afghan-JICA leadership team; and journalists visited the Technical and Vocational Training Center for vulnerable groups. They inspected the classrooms and met with students, teachers, and officials. He assured the students of full support, appreciated the efforts of teachers and officials, and wished them success in their duties.
