A Short Biography of the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Alhaj Mullah Abdul Manan Omari

 

                              

Alhaj Mullah Abdul Manan Omari is the son of Mawlavi Mohammad Anwar.  He was born in 1984 in Loya-Daira village, Deh-Rawood district, Uruzgan province. Mullah Abdul Manan Omari received his primary education in Sangsar village of Panjwayee district of Kandahar province. This madrasa was established by the founder of Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Amir-ul- Mu’minin Mullah Mohammad Omar Mujahid (may Allah have mercy on him). Mullah Abdul Manan Omari was one of the students of the late Amir-ul-Mu’minin Mullah Mohammad Omar Mujahid. After that, Mullah Abdul Manan Omari completed his secondary education in the Jihadi Madrasa of Kandahar. 
During the previous government of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Al-haj Mullah Abdul Manan Omari was responsible for his elder brother, the late Amir al-Mu'minin Mullah Muhammad Omar Mujahid house protection, organizing internal affairs, and overseeing household matters.
During the US illegal occupation of Afghanistan, Mullah Abdul Manan Omari took care of the Mullah Mohammad Omar Mujahid family and his children, and also, he served as a member of the Leadership Council of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. He played an active role in the Jihad against the occupation, particularly as the head of the Dawat wa Irshad (Invitation and Guidance) and Complaints Commission. Moreover, he participated effectively in negotiations with the American delegation in Doha, Qatar.
After the victory of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, he was appointed as the acting Minister of Public Works by the leadership of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. During his tenure as the acting Minister of Public Works, he achieved significant accomplishments.
Following a decree numbered 417, dated 23/6/1444 lunar year (Islamic calendar), issued by the Amir al-Mu'minin Sheikh al-Hadith wal-Qur'an Mawlavi Hibatullah Akhundzada, he was appointed as the acting Minister of Labor and Social Affairs in 1401 Hijri Shamsi (Solar year).
As his appointment of the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Al-Haj Mullah Abdul Manan Omari has also made a notable contribution in MoLSA. The most significant achievements were organizing and holding the National Labor Conference. The National Labor Conference purpose was to provide job opportunities directly and indirectly approximately to 1.5 million Afghans throughout the country in the next five years.
