Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Visits Nangarhar Province

Mullah Abdul Manan Omari, the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, made an urgent official visit to Nangraharprovince to assess the areas affected by last night's earthquake.

In this official visit, the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs is accompanied by several directors and staff of the ministry. Alhaj Mullah Abdul Manan Omari offered condolences to the families of the earthquake victims. The Minister of Labor and Social Affairs will coordinate with relevant authorities to provide emergency humanitarian assistance, including support for orphans and unaccompanied children, medical treatment for the injured, distribution of essential aid, temporary shelters for displaced families, food, clean water, medicines, and other necessities.

It is worth mentioning, many employees of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs are working alongside other IEA aid institutions stationed in the area to deliver a variety of services to the people affected by the earthquake and take out the bodies from the rubble.
