Molsa to Make National children protection policy with consultation to National and international institutions.

According to the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs Contract with International Bureau for Children's Rights (IBCR) Canadian institute, in consultation with National and international institutions, other related organizations and staff members who work in this field, Afghanistan will make a comprehensive national children protection policy with technical support of UNICEF to protect children said, Ghulam Haider Jelani Deputy Social Minister by expressing this approach.

national children protection policy will be arranged according to Afghan children law that will pay attention to all vulnerable children and their rights in our society, he farther added.

The basic purpose of this meeting is to deliver and share short information with all the stakeholders and the participants about the project of national children protection policy and its preparations, Mr. Jelani added.

     Beside of appreciation from the cooperation of UNICEF Mr. Jelani suggested all the participants to share their valuable opinions for improvement of policy and perform their national and Islamic duty in the field of children protection.

At the inauguration meeting to make national children protection policy several representatives of national and international institutions. Related governmental organizations participated in this meeting, praised this step of MOLSA and vowed farther cooperation in the future for improvements of the policy.

 It is mentionable that MOLSA concluded a contract with International Bureau for Children's Rights (IBCR) a Canadian institute by the worth of $354521 in January 2020. According to this contract Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs in consultation and coordination with related, institutions and organization will make a comprehensive national children protection policy for Afghan children’s protections, strength and assess children protection cases, improve capacity building of children protection network, strength management system, the establishment of a research center for children protection and strengthening of the data center for children protection.

This meeting has lasted for three days which all the participants have worked practically in different workgroups for the arrangement of national children protection policy in Afghanistan.
