The Iranian Delegation visits the Basir Relief and Development Center
Sayed Malek Hosseini, Deputy Minister of Labor, Cooperatives, and Social Welfare of the Islamic Republic of Iran, accompanied by Alhaj Mawlawi Obaidullah Aminzada, Deputy Minister of Social Affairs, visited the Technical and Vocational Training Center of the Basir Relief and Development Charity Institute.
During this visit, both sides appreciated the work and activities of the practical and theoretical sections of the center and observed firsthand challenges, problems, as well as the opportunities of the students and instructors of the center. Mr. Sayed Malek Hosseini and his accompanying delegation promised to make efforts to enhance the center’s resources both in quantity and quality in order to improve the workforce of Afghanistan.
Alhaj Mawlavi Obaidullah Aminzada, the Deputy Minister of Social Affairs, expressed gratitude for the financial and technical support of the Islamic Republic of Iran of this center. He added that simultaneously, in 9 professions, nearly 470 young people from vulnerable groups busy in training. These professions are tailoring, plumbing, mobile repairing, computer repairing, household appliance repairing, automobile mechanics, car painting, and others. He expressed hope that in the near future, they will enter the Afghan labor market as skilled workers and become employed or start their own businesses.
It is worth noting that during this visit, Sayed Malek Hosseini, Deputy Minister of Labor, Cooperatives, and Social Welfare of the Islamic Republic of Iran, was accompanied by Mr. Ali Bagheri, Director General of Foreign Employment, Mr. Hamid Reza Rayka, Head of Labor Attachés and Bilateral Relations Group, and Mr. Mohsen Ghavami, Assistant to the Deputy of Employment Development and Entrepreneurship. On the Afghan side, the Deputy Minister of Social Affairs, Mawlavi Obaidullah Aminzadeh, was accompanied by Mawlavi Rahimullah Sarah, General Director of Skills Development; Mawlavi Abdul Wahed Faiz, Head of Technical and Vocational Training Centers; and Samimullah Ibrahimi, Director of Press and Spokesperson of the Ministry.
