Deputy Minister of Labor Affairs Meets with the Head of Norway’s Independent Commission for Afghanistan

Alhaj Mawlavi Mohammad Zahid Ahmadzai, the Deputy Minister of Labor Affairs, met in his office with Mr. Bjørn Tore Godal, head of the Independent Commission, along with his accompanying delegation appointed by the Kingdom of Norway for Afghanistan.

At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Godal and his team members provided information to the Deputy Minister of Labor Affairs about their experiences, achievements, past projects, and future plans regarding their engagement and involvement in Afghanistan over the past twenty years.

Mr. Godal added that they are currently working on a report to document both the successes and failures of past years. We want to share these findings with the people and government of Norway and with the international community.

Alhaj Mawlavi Mohammad Zahid Ahmadzai, the Deputy Minister of Labor Affairs, expresses his gratitude for their arrival in Afghanistan, calls for their investment and attention in social affairs, support for vulnerable groups, vocational and technical education, and other efforts to reduce the unemployment rate in the country.

In conclusion, Mr. Godal pledged to convey all the requests of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan to the Norwegian government and the international community.
