The Deputy Minister of Labor Affairs Meets with the Head of Construction Companies’ Union

Alhaj Mawlavi Mohammad Zahid Ahmadzai, the Deputy Minister of Labor Affairs, met with Hamidullah Habibi, the head of the Union of Construction Companies in Afghanistan, in his office.
At the beginning of the meeting, Hamidullah Habibi, the head of the Union, shared information about their activities, achievements, coordination, and cooperation with government institutions. The construction companies’ union strives to improve the quality of work and provide employment opportunities for technical professionals and vocational graduates in various sectors.
The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, especially the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, is striving to train skilled and professional workers for Afghan society, such as technical workers, especially in the construction field; assess the needs of the labor market; create job opportunities; and pave the way for foreign investors to invest within the country. If it is possible, send Afghan skilled and professional workers abroad, and also emphasize the protection of the human dignity of Afghan workers, and expand employment opportunities in various fields. The Deputy Minister of Labor Affairs made these remarks while appreciating the activities of construction companies in the country.
Alhaj Mawlavi Mohammad Zahid Ahmadzai further stated that it is their responsibility to continue efforts in reducing unemployment, promoting quality and standard labor, improving implementation of projects, facilitating services for the public, and guiding society toward a stable future.
