MOLSA Presents the Reports of its Performance & Achievements to the Nation under the responsible Government accountability program.
In this program Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs conveys the correspondence of its performance and achievements to Media, Civil Society, Access to information Commission, and to the Nation under the Government accountability program in Government Media and information Center.
For this purpose, His Excellency Sayeed Anwar Sadat Acting Minister of Labor and Social Affairs and leadership members, share all the essential information about Ministry’s activities and achievements in last one year at Government Information and Media Center and respond to the questions of reporters.
Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs spent more than 90 percent of development and 95 percent of the normal budget in the last fiscal year, although this Ministry do not have any revenue resource but collected about one and half billion Afghanis to the state treasury, said Sayeed Anwar Sadat.
Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs has established online systems of information center, launch video conference system with provinces for better performance management, online systems for the issuing of internal and external work permit licenses, online Administrative letters, online system for projects monitoring, evaluation and reporting and studies of labor markets, simultaneously, MOLSA creates access to the information department, a regular office, and an employee have been recruited so all the countrymen could have free access to the Ministry’s information at any time from this department, Added Acting Minister.
Regarding to the laws, Acting Minster said: seven laws and regulations have been adopted and published in the final and official Gazettes. Miraculously, Regulation on Managing the PensionRights of Employees of NGOs and Private Sectors employees have been finalized and published in the official Gazette, according to this law, every private sector employee after the retirement will earn a one-month additional pension in exchange for one year's work, this money will be collected in transparent and systematic manner from private-sector agencies and all staff accounts will be funded by pension treasury through a pure system. Additionally, eight polices, strategic plans and bills were final and revised with new additions, Mr. Sadat Said.
in vocational training field, more than thirty-three thousand countrymen have earned vocational training in the last educational year, fortunately, seventy percent of them have been hired or started their own business, Mr. Sadat said.
Online employment service system (Online Assignment) started with the help of easy service (Assan Khidmat) program which tentative works have been started with thirty-five standard of professional skills established and thirty-four educational curriculums were made, He further added.
Social and labor-related agreements were concluded with several domestic and foreign organizations with the worth of about One hundred and eighty-five Million Afghanis, national migration strategy and action plan have been made and the process of sending Afghan laborers to abroad will start in the near future, Mr. Sadat added.
There are currently sixty-eight governmental and private orphanages operating throughout the country with ten thousand orphans, derelicts and poor children have housed and trained, others thirteen orphanages will be built from pre-constructed walls and the foundation stone of five of them have been laid. additionally one other orphanage in Kunar province from government budget and two others for the people of Ningrahar and Ghazni provinces with special attention and commitment from the president are under the construction, said Mr. Sadat.
For better performance and services delivery for children Some of others orphanages have been reconstructed in Capital.additionaly for best care for the children crust and improvement, the regulation of orphanages hav been amended, strategic plan for five years has been created, and the orphanage admission and dormitory action plan has been renewed with the contemplation of many facilities and services for orphanages children, Acting Minister added.
An orphanage was established in Herat province by Khowafi Company, with the funding of friendly country of Indiatwo orphanages were constructedin Kapisa and Saripul provinces, and one orphanage in Kandahar province by United Arab Emirates (UAE), He added.
At least, one hundred forty million Afghani revenuewas collected through the issuing of permit licenses of private orphanages and seventeen million were collected through the kindergarten’s children fees to the state treasury, Mr. Sadat Added.
It is mentionable that the responsible Government Accountability Program to the nation was conveyed by presidential palace Public and Strategic Relation department, which Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs presents the reports of its performance and achievements to journalists, civil activists, and to the Nation through live broadcasting from National Radio Television of Afghanistan (RTA), and at the end of the program His Excellency Mr. Sadat answered the questions of correspondents.
