In Kabul 140 Youths Graduated from Vocational and Training Center
Through the efforts and coordination of the General Directorate of Skills Development related to the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs,140 young people graduated from the Technical and Vocational Training Center of Kabul. At the end of ceremony, they received their certificates.
It is a matter of great joy that we are witnessing the graduation of 140 young people from the Kabul Technical and Vocational Training Center. After six months of theoretical and practical training in plumbing, construction electricity, metalworking, and tailoring, they are now being introduced to society and the labor market as skilled and semi-skilled workers. These professions will enable them to earn a lawful livelihood for their families and take steps toward self-sufficiency. The Deputy Minister of Labor Affairs, Alhaj Mawlavi Mohammad Zahid Ahmadzai added these remarks while speaking to the ceremony and congratulated to the graduates as well.
In addition to its other responsibilities, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs provides technical and vocational training across the country for youths, recovered from drug addiction, vulnerable individuals, orphans and children without guardians, and disabled Mujahideen based on the needs of the labor market. This will significantly help to reduce the unemployment rate in the country. The unemployment is one of the major problems in the country, and to address it, the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan especially the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs is working around the clock to create job opportunities for the citizens. The Deputy Minister of Labor Affairs added these remarks during his speech to the audience and newly graduate people.
When the Islamic Emirate came to power, the ground has been prepared for investment in Afghanistan. Through increased investment, the unemployment rate will be greatly reduced and a large number of citizens will gain employment in the market. The deputy minister concluded his speech with these remarks.
It is worth mentioning in this graduation ceremony the General Director of Skills Development, Mawlavi Rahimullah Sarah; the Director of Technical and Vocational Training Regulation, Mawlavi Abdul Wahid Faiz; Labor Affairs Advisor Qari Mohammad Karim Hanafi; as well as instructors, students, and officials of the center attended.
