The Deputy Minister of Labor Affairs Met with Representatives of Industrialists

The Deputy Minister of Labor Affairs, Alhaj Mawlavi Mohammad Zahid Ahmadzai, met in his office with representatives of industrialists from the private sector, as well as other members of factories and companies.
In this meeting, both sides held a comprehensive discussion on various issues. They discuss creating more employment opportunities for citizens in different sectors, addressing existing challenges and obstacles in industry and trade, supporting businessmen and industrialists, and providing more opportunities for investment in the country. Besides this, they talked about prioritizing domestic production, giving preference to local workers over foreign nationals in employment opportunities, ensuring workers’ rights, facilitating business operations, and overall improving cooperation with the private sector.
In accordance with the laws and policies of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs is ready to strengthen efforts through coordination, collaboration, and joint programs with the private sector to reduce the unemployment rate and create job opportunities for youth. The Deputy Minister of Labor Affairs, Alhaj Mawlavi Mohammad Zahid Ahmazai, added these remarks with the representatives of industrialists.
At the end, representatives of the industry and trade sectors appreciated the cooperation of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs and pledged to expand their activities in coordination with the MoLSA in the employment and workforce areas.
