The Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Alhaj Mullah Abdul Manan Omari, met in his office with Haji Noorullah Fadawi, the head of the Union of Private Employment Agencies in the country, along with his accompanying delegation, and discussed relevant matters.
During the meeting, both sides exchanged detailed views on the procedures for sending new Afghan workers to foreign countries, the current situation of Afghan workers residing abroad, solutions to their problems, the protection of their rights and needs, the official introduction of union-registered companies to worker-receiving countries in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the establishment of official offices of the Union for Sending Afghan Workers Abroad in Qatar and other countries, and other related issues.
The head of the Union of Private Employment Agencies should facilitate its operational activities, create job opportunities for Afghan workers in worker-receiving countries, organize and legalize its operations both inside and outside Afghanistan, establish working relations with official labor unions in those countries, and cooperate with the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan by identifying and handing over to the law those companies that illegally send Afghan workers abroad. It is expected that in the near future, the Deputy Minister of Labor Creation of the Islamic Republic of Iran will visit Kabul, and it would be better for us to jointly present our requests to them. Alhaj Mullah Abdul Manan Omari made these remarks during the meeting with the head of the Union of Private Employment Agencies.
We are ready for any kind of cooperation with the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, and we hope that the challenges and issues of the Union will also be taken into consideration. We request that our licenses for legal activities be renewed on time, opportunities for strengthening our foreign work relations be provided, and that the process of legally sending Afghan workers abroad be carried out only through close cooperation and coordination with the Union. Haji Noorullah Fadawi, head of the Union of Private Employment Agencies, stated these during his speech.
At the end, both sides emphasized mutual and close cooperation and pledged that all activities will be carried out in full coordination.
