A Meeting Held at the MoLSA to Facilitate the Issuance of Work Visas to Foreign Nationals

Under the chairmanship of the Deputy Minister of Labor Affairs, Alhaj Mawlavi Mohammad Zahid Ahmadzai, a meeting was held with the representatives from the ministries of foreign affairs, interior affairs, and information and cultures. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the procedures of issuing work visas and work permits to foreign nationals. 

At the beginning of the meeting, representatives of the relevant Emirati Institutions presented their reports. After hearing the reports, discussions were held regarding the issuance of work visas to foreign nationals, preventing employment under tourists’ visas, organizing work visa process, and providing further facilities in granting work permits.

Foreign nationals must act in accordance with the laws and regulations of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, emphasizing that the process of issuing work permits should be simplified and streamlined. Foreigners who work in the country under tourist visas should be strictly monitored. The Deputy Minister of Labor Affairs, Alhaj Mawlavi Mohammad Zahid Ahmadzai, added these remarks with the participants of the meeting.

The presence of foreign nationals in the country is valuable from various aspects, and it was noted that their presence plays an important role in increasing state revenue and improving the quality of work and production. The interest and investment of foreign investors are essential for the country’s economic growth. The Deputy Minister for Tourism, Finance, and Administrative Affairs, Mawlavi Qudratullah Jamal, at the Ministry of Information and Culture added these remarks.

It is worth mentioning that the Director General of Work Forces, Mawlavi Ezzatullah Arif; Director of the Ministry Office, Hafiz Mohammad Hassan Monawar; Director of Work Permit Distribution for Domestic and Foreign Nationals, Mir Ahmad Mamnoon; and Director of Labor Inspection and Guidance, Mawlawi Abdul Mateen Mawlawi Zada, were present in this meeting.
