The Deputy Minister of Labor Affairs Met with the Senior Deputy Minister of Interior Affairs

The Deputy Minister of Labor Affairs, Alhaj Mawlavi Mohammad Zahid Ahmadzai, met with the Senior Deputy Minister for Security Affairs at MoIA, General Mawlavi Sadr Ibrahim.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Deputy Minister of Labor Affairs stated that the MoLSA is responsible for reducing the country's unemployment rate. In this regard, the National Labor Conference was organized last year. Currently, the ministry is working on following up on the commitments made during that event with the IEA ministries and other institutions.

We are working to reduce the unemployment rate in cooperation and coordination with various government institutions, the private sector, and particularly with the Ministry of Interior Affairs. The efforts of the Ministry of Interior in this area are not only commendable but also raise expectations for further collaboration. We hope that citizens’ concerns and complaints related to unemployment are shared with us and that there will be coordination with our ministry regarding the recruitment of skilled and professional human beings. The Deputy Minister of Labor Affairs, Alhaj Mawlavi Mohammad Zahid Ahmadzai, added the aforementioned remarks during the meeting.

The MoAI is committed to soon sharing a list of vacant positions based on quantity and quality with the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs. The MoIA wants to give priority in recruitment to those citizens who have recently returned from neighboring countries. The MoIA has intended to hire from the lists of returning professionals available with the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs. General Mawlavi Ibrahim Sadr, the Senior Deputy Minister for Security Affairs at the Ministry of Interior Affairs, made these remarks while praising the efforts and activities of MoLSA.
