Legal Process of Deploying Skilled and Professional Afghan Workers to foreign countries officially Launched

The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs has officially launched the legal process for deploying skilled and professional Afghan workers to foreign countries for the first time.
Mullah Abdul Ghani Beradar Akhund, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate for Economic Affairs; Alhaj Mullah Abdul Manan Omari, the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs; deputies of ministries and representatives of various governmental institutions; the head and representatives of private employment agencies; representatives of diplomatic missions of foreign countries based in Kabul; and other guests participated in this ceremony.
First, Mullah Abdul Ghani Beradar, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate for Economic Affairs, stated that the legal deployment of skilled and professional Afghan workers to foreign countries will positively impact Afghanistan's economic situation and will reduce the unemployment levels within the country.
The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan is committed to reducing the unemployment rate in the country. The IEA has been working over the past few years to create job opportunities by attracting domestic and foreign investment, expanding economic and trade relations with other countries, and implementing both small and large infrastructure projects throughout the country. Mullah Abdul Ghani Beradar added these remarks.
Afghan workers are trustworthy individuals. Afghan workers will adhere to the laws and customs of the host countries. I am assured they will be honorable representatives of our homeland. Mullah Abdul Manan Omari, Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, added these remarks to the participants of the ceremony.
He further added that the agreement between the State of Qatar regarding the deployment of Afghan workers is a significant and foundational step. The MoLSA is in negotiations to sign similar agreements with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, the Sultanate of Oman, Turkey, and Russia. To send skilled, semi-skilled, and professional Afghan workers to those countries, which will reduce the unemployment rate in the country.
Alhaj Mullah Abdul Manan Omari emphasized that the MoLSSA is committed to ensuring the safety and the legal rights of workers abroad. Deploying workers legally abroad will decrease and prevent illegal migration, and through legal deployment, their rights, dignity, respect, and honor will be preserved.
Dr. Mohammad Naeem, the Deputy Minister for Financial and Administrative Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, thanked and appreciated the State of Qatar for this initiative. Qatar is a historic friend of the Afghan people. He also said the MoFA is ready for any coordination when needed during the deployment of Afghan workers.
Lastly, Haji Noorullah Fadawi, head of the Union of Private Employment Agencies, also addressed the audience. Afghanistan has a talented and hardworking workforce. Including working domestically, we can deploy them legally abroad for work. He pointed out that the long war, destruction of infrastructure, drought, and the recent mass deportations of Afghan refugees from neighboring countries are the main reasons for the current unemployment rate in the country.
It is worth mentioning that the registration process for the deployment of 2000 skilled and professional Afghan workers for employment in Qatar will officially commence tomorrow in Kabul and provincial zones throughout the country. Details and job descriptions have already been shared with the countrymen through social media accounts and the media.
